Campbell was ridiculously helpful. We ended up talking whisky, bourbon, and mezcal for almost 3 hours. We did multiple tastings, had some cocktails, tried the guest draught. Could not recommend more.
A unique small group experience in the private upstairs room of the Malt room. Experience was led by Knowledgable general manager of the malt room and entertainment provided by local musician Davy. Scotch varieties were unique and I learned a lot, even though I’m not a huge whiskey fan.
Delightful hours spent enjoying a wide range of quality whisky. The bar was quirky with attentive knowledgeable staff. A return trip is certainly on the cards.
Great evening in a lovely room with the fire on, John has so much knowledge in the whisky’s that was on the tasting and Davy Holt entertaining us with lots of tunes, great atmosphere and very friendly. Highly recommended
Professional, all-round harmonious single malt tasting with guitar accompaniment and Scottish folk songs in a cosy, family setting. You can't do better than that.
