Perfect excursion to learn about bees
Everyone should experience this family business and local gem. We were greeted warmly by an associate who explained how beekeeping in this area works. The shop is also a museum of beekeeping and very child friendly with a section designed just for them. This family has been beekeeping for generations, so there is so much to learn. Once you finish inside, you put on beekeeping clothes and go outside to meet the beekeeper and hold and study the bee frames full of bees. It was fascinating and worth...閱讀更多

A great day experiencing Greek cuisine and culture!
Our day with Sophia was wonderful! We began with a visit to an apiary and continued with a tour of local markets. We learned so much about the production of honey and the pride the restaurant and shop owners have in the products they sell. The companionship and warmth of our guide, Sophia, is truly what made the day one we will always remember.

Wonderful Day With Sophia with Bees, Cheese and Aniseed
Sophia took us on the most interesting tour involving beekeeping and the production of honey and honey related products. Her own expertise as a beekeeper gave us real insights into the world of bees. Perhaps the best experience though was Sophia’s lovely personality which made it such a fun day. Bees, cheese, laughter and ice cream.
Our trip out to see the honey bees at work and taste the different honeys was an education and a treat. Our guide Sophia,an experienced beekeeper herself, made everything relaxed and fun. Then a walk in the old town part of Nafplio, stopping at various establishments to taste food was like spending an hour strolling in interesting streets and parks, with an old friend. Fabulous experience. Should also mention the driver Costas - friendly, helpful and a pleasurable safe drive.

A buzzing good time!
This tour is an absolute must if you are in/near Nafplio — especially if you are lucky enough to have Sophia as your tour guide and Kostas as your driver! They were THE best!!! The apiary is a stunning facility and the owner and his cousin who run it were a true delight! They were not only lovely but so informative. After donning beekeeper suits, we joined the owner at the hive to get a close up look at the Queen Bee and her minions of workers. We were even lucky enough to see a bee being born! ...閱讀更多
