This tour began with a city tour of Iraklion around the old streets with Ira ending with a tasting of local pastries and coffee. We were then handed over to Katerina (an amazing guide with a professional archaeological background), our guide for the rest of the trip. After a visit to the archaeological museum to gain a great background in the history of the island, we visited the site of Knossos.
