We received this food tour as a gift from some friends and could not have had a better time. We lucked out and it ended up being only my wife and I on the tour so we got a very personalized experience. Irene was wonderful, very knowledgeable and friendly. We had such a good time being shown around the city and she also offered to take several pictures of us. All the food along the way was delicious and we were so full when it was over! Deliciously enlightening immersion into Thessaloniki's amazing ffood scene
A brilliant and delicious introduction to Thessaloniki's food culture and how it has been shaped by centuries of migration and multiculturalism. Dora is a lovely and intelligent guide who understands the nuances of her city and will take you to some truly local haunts you would never find on your own. This is a city with a huge appetite and this tour takes you straight to the belly of the beast!

Wonderful local experience
Another fabulous Culinary Backstreets experience with a true local foodie. Ioannis is so entrenched in the food scene in Thessaloniki that every stop was a beautiful story not to mention a delicious moment. In addition to being a lover of the architecture of the city - a perfect combination for me!

A Five Star Culinary Experience!
I'm a huge fan of Culinary Backstreets, both in Thessaloniki and other cities around the world. This was a great introduction to Thessaloniki both via its food but also hitting several important cultural landmarks along the way. If the tour had a weakness, it was that it tried to do too much. I had to say no to the sixth pastry shop! But a total five-star experience!
