Rustic taverno situated atop a mountain just 30 minutes outside of Heraklion. Seville, our host, did a wonderful job of showing us around the family farm property, and explaining each course our the meal we were about to prepare. We were two retired couple's from Canada dining with two young couples from Germany. The food we prepared was delicious and the atmosphere was very homey. I would highly recommend this activity for anyone wishing to experience true Cretan culture.

We had a wonderful Cretan experience with Sevi and her mom. As a cruise passenger, she helped us coordinate taxi transportation to/from the port and was outside to welcome us when we arrived. Due to other guests not able to attend last minute, we had a our own "private" class. We chose a salad (dakos), starter (saganaki), main (lamb with green beans and potatoes) and dessert (loukoumedes) from a recipe book of options based on seasonal ingredients. Thank you, Sevi and your lovely, warm, and welcoming family for giving my wife and me one of the best vacation experiences of our lives! Your place is stunningly beautiful, the food was so fun to cook and even better to eat, and, most importantly, you made us feel so special. We will remember our 4 hours with you for the rest of our lives. ❤️

Sevi and her family are so welcoming. We had an amazing time learning to cook Cretian food. This was the highlight of our trip. We made the most delicious food with produce grown and made on the farm. We even got to feed the lovely goats. Couldn't recommend this enough, you'll have a lovely time meeting new people and being guided to make tasty food by Sevi and her lovely mum.

This was the absolute best cooking experience I’ve ever had! As soon as I can post more photos I will. Amazing host. I can speak enough about!💕
