新的一天從宏偉的阿姆斯壯紅杉州立自然保護區開始，在高聳入雲 300 英尺的樹林中漫步。這是體驗已有 1500 年歷史的樹木的絕佳機會。我們特意選擇不去更有名的穆爾紅杉森林，那裡擠滿了人群，使我們的客人無法充分享受紅杉樹的雄偉。相反，我們去了阿姆斯壯森林，那裡有更古老、更高的樹木，而且人群也少得多。
然後，我們前往肯德爾-傑克遜酒莊和烹飪花園，在這裡，從農場到餐桌的烹飪運動盛行，我們參觀的花園是加州最負盛名的餐廳的蔬菜來源。
