I would do it again.
Heard a lot about this excursion and done in June 2026. In a word, sublime. Fine guide who knows the road well and tells where you are and also knows a lot about the area where you drive. Definitely recommended to do once. Tasted very nice wines, which cycles over your tongue like an angel.
Can also buy wine there after the tour and tasting. After the tasting we had lunch at a local eatery. Such a thing see not every day, is really Greek and very good food.

Toller Ausflug - kein Touristenmagnet !!!
Es war ein unbeschreiblich toller Tag. Wir haben viel erlebt und gelernt über die traditionelle Olivenölverarbeitung und den Weinanbau. Unser Autofahrer hat uns entführt in die Gastfreundlichkeit Kretas, Mittagessen zwischen einheimischen Familien. Einfach WOW!!!!!

Great tour for a cruise day in Crete
Such a great experience. We did the olive oil, traditional lunch, and wine tasting tour. All were fabulous. Group of 11 were comfortable.
Did this as an excursion off the NCL Jade. Customized times and could meet at 10am avoiding the morning rush of the ship excursions.
Met right where the port shuttle dropped us. All stops were excellent and enjoyable. Love the people that we met, all were passionate and fun.

Fanatic day can’t recommend enough
The wine tasting was a fabulous experience, it started with us trying 6 different wines from the region alongside traditional Greek snacks. Afterwards we had a little tour of the vineyard and learnt about the history of wine making in Greece and the grapes which were in the wines we had just tasted. The winery itself is beautiful, it offers stunning views of the Cretian landscape and the staff were all very welcoming.
