+10 張照片Charming family-run vineyard in a stunning setting. We tried a selection of wines, each of which were served by Nick (one of the owners), and each of which were absolutely delicious. He took the time to stop and chat to us, telling us the background of the vineyard - and overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable visit (if a little hard on the credit card after the amount of wine we bought!)
We had a wonderful time staying in the Oastbrook hobbit house with bbq and hot tub. Frequent visits from the adorable Vinyard dog Lora went towards our stunning stay. The family run estate is glorious and the whole family are beautifully welcoming. We did the tour and tasting which was highly informative and delicious. We loved it all. Thank you Oastbrook!
We had a fantastic experience at Oastbrook, including attending the wine tour/tasting and staying on site in the Hobbit House for the weekend. Owners America and Nick were great hosts, the Hobbit House was quirky and immaculate and the location was beautiful with views over the vineyard from the accommodation terrace. I went to Wildshark with a friend, we did the tour with Alex and the picnic afterwards. We had a great time, really beautiful walk round the vineyards which were more extensive than expected. It was interesting to hear about the process of making wine from the growing through to the end product, to hear about local history and to sample the different wines as we meandered through the vineyards and woodland.
