+4 張照片Very knowledgeable and friendly attendant. Beautiful venue with sweeping views in a very modern building. Tasted wines to suit us - attendant was very adaptable. Very organised, had everything set up at the tasting bar. You will learn that Jacob's Creek is part of a vast wine group, but the roots and actual creek are there. A great starting point for the Barossa.
Experience provides great value for money. The host was knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed the wines and the setting was lovely! The platter was delicious and we had a perfect day for sitting outdoors at one of the tables and enjoying the sun and views.
Back in the UK, I'm not particularly fond of a lot of Jacob creeks wines that we have on offer "off the shelf" and for that reason have avoided visiting past years. However this year we wanted to try something different and gave it a try. I'm very glad we did. The grounds are beautiful, the facilities are great and family friendly, the staff were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable, and to top it off, I didn't try a single wine I didn't like! A fantastic start to our Barossa Valley tasting day. A great experience and of course delicious wines which we could choose what we wanted for tasting.
This experience began with wine tasting so that we could then choose our own wine for the picnic & our host was Lauren. She was friendly, knowledgable & listened to our likes & dislikes eventually guiding us toward choosing a most divine grenache. The picnic bag also included a rug, water, a food pack & a map of walking trails so we could choose our own picnic spot.
