Wonderful Day!
We had such a lovely day exploring the wineries with family, and João made it extra special! He was hilarious, friendly, and full of interesting information that kept us entertained throughout the tour. We learned a lot, laughed a lot, and made wonderful memories together. João really made the experience unforgettable! If you’re thinking about booking a winery tour, don’t hesitate — we highly recommend this tour and especially João as your guide! The most authentic wine tasting.
After conducting short research of different wineries in the Douro Valley I opted for this quaint and authentic family-run for my wine tasting. I was not disappointed. Turned out I was the only participant of the tour and was assured that they are held for anyone who is interested, no matter the number. I had an honour of being guided by the owner himself, John Smith, whose humour and light-hearted attitude was very welcoming and made you feel at home. Fun and informative!!
Great tour-informative and totally fun! Family winery with port, wine, and delicious olive oil, too! Bea was hilarious and so great! Also, get into the barrel to get a sense for size and culture-so fun. Highly recommend!!

Easily one of the highlights of the entire trip! Jaoa was an incredible guide, my group loved his sense of humor and knowledge.
