My partner and I took a day tour to the town of Tequila with our guide, Diego, and it was fantastic. He's incredibly knowledgeable and very deliberate about what he shares, so every stop felt meaningful rather than rushed or generic. He's also a lot of fun, with great energy that makes the day exciting, especially if you're as passionate about the culture and history as he is. I cannot recommend Diego highly enough. Our day tour with him was educational, exciting, and so much fun. We learned so much about the history and culture of the region and he is a true expert on the tequila making process. This tour was one of the highlights of our entire time in Mexico.

Myself (58), my son (27), my brother-in-law (49) and my nephew (16) were in Mexico for 10 days to see the several World Cup matches and took the tequila tour with Diego as our guide and Ruben as our driver while we were in Guadalajara. This was day-two of our time with Diego. We also did a tour of Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque with him the day before. We started the day with Diego taking us to a small, family owned local restaurant in Tequila that was amazing and then on to the distillery. Diego was amazing. Actually knew the history of tequila and we really learned a lot. He made our experience very nice i would highly recommend him if you want to have a private tour to tequila!
