Love it!
Top experience, what a day! Located in the UNESCO-protected heritage site of Stari Grad Plain, Kornelija, along with her daughter and nona, is preparing the most delicious food, using traditional recipes, vegetables from the garden, cooking in the open air with so much love you can’t help but feel it. She is a highly educated and knowledgeable woman, with so many ambitions and ideas, it’s almost impossible not to be swept up in her energy. A one of a kind experience!
My family and I had the absolute pleasure of attending a private dinner at Poje Hvar. It was truly an exceptional experience! Kornelija and her daughter Morana are warm, gracious hosts who gave us a tour of the property and gardens. The farm to table meal was incredible from start to finish. We started with a sampling of homemade, flavored spirits. We enjoyed an amazing spread of goat cheese, olives, and a basil spread that was out of this world! Memorable dinner experience in a gorgeous location!
We attended this event with a group of 8 friends, to celebrate my husband’s birthday while on a boat-bike vacation through the Dalmatian Islands. The UNESCO site in Stari Grad was gorgeous, with equally gorgeous weather. The charming Kornelija went above and beyond to make the evening a special birthday event, including providing birthday decorations and candles. Excellent Experience!!
We went to a private dinner at Poje Hvar to celebrate a friend's birthday and had an absolutely wonderful time! We arrived and were greeted by Kornelija. She gave us a tour of the property/gardens and we learned a lot about what it means to be a UNESCO site. It's amazing what Kornelija has done with the property since starting the dinners.
