+44 張照片Our tour guide, Asha, was exceptional. Informative, lively, and disappointingly good at dominos! And the same birthday as my daughter! The tour was really interesting and the rum tasting excellent (as far as I can remember).
This tour was brilliant from start to finish. Asha the guide was fun, knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm. I don't want to give away any spoilers but this is an authentic tour with sounds, smells and tastes giving you that genuine feel of a truly great experience.
If you're going to spend a Saturday in Barbados, you could do a lot worse than start with rum! Our 11.30 am tour at Stades Rum Distillery began in the best possible way: with an excellent rum punch. We were then kitted out with hard hats and all the necessary gear before heading off to discover how it's all made. We have toured several rum distilleries in the Caribbean. This one is by far the Best! You actually get to go into a working distillery and see production in progress. Our guide Asha was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and has a great sense of humor. She was great to interact with and made our tour of the facility and the rum tasting outstanding! Afternoon in paradise well spent.
I loved the whole experience from the amazing welcome rum punch to the incredibly detailed tour from our fantastic guide to the rum tasting looking over the most beautiful beach. I would highly recommend!
