What an amazing class, hands on, very informative and super fun. Our instructor was great with explaining ingredients and providing additional context around certain dishes. The cooking school was also able to accommodate all dietary restrictions. I would definitely recommend the Taiwanese Gourment Cooking Class to all foodies.
This is our second class with Cookinn. We took the Taiwanese Street Food class before, and we had so much fun that we signed up for the Taiwanese Gourmet Meal on our most recent trip to Taiwan. Again, it was such a fun experience for our family to do together. Our teacher, Diana, was completely fluent in both Mandarin and English, and she not only shared cooking instructions but also the cultural history of Taiwan and the food that we were preparing also. I cook regularly at home and I found this course to be very good for both the home chef and casual cooks. The teacher Diana was very clear and spoke both Chinese and English. The kitchen was clean and spacious and all the ingredients were described before we started. Even for the dishes that I thought I knew how to make I learned many tips that made the flavors uniquely Taiwanese!
Instructor speaks good English, there is no communication problem. Lesson is easy to follow. Will consider coming back for another lesson when in Taipei.
