We had such a nice time, the mochi lesson and the tea ceremony were so informative and fun. Can’t wait to try the other classes available and will be recommending this to any friends going to Kyoto!

We loved the experience. It felt low key and accessible to ask all the questions we wanted, while still enjoying the graceful and formal performance of the tea ceremony. Definitely a recommendation for first timers to a tea ceremony, wanting to learn more about its intricacies and significance.

Exceeded our expectations. Mijo was a wonderful host and being in a Japanese home made it that much more special. So fun and easy making the mochi and the tea ceremony was amazing. It was intimate and informative. After going through a traditional ceremony we then got to make our own matcha tea. Loved every minute.

Great atmosphere, you can tell the knowledge and great enthusiasm of the cook. The tea ceremony was awsome, they explain the Why of all the steps that the tea ceremony specialist performs. Highly recommand!
