We had a wonderful time and experience at Sakura san’s class. The class was very well organised and structured. Our nine year old is very shy and Sakura san approached her with patience and after a while she felt comfortable. We’re so glad that we did this and recommend the class wholeheartedly. Super Great time with Bruce, he ensured the evening stayed joyful, fun and engaging! It was not awkward and he was insightful, friendly and made us feel so welcomed! His warm and knowledgable approach made the food tour amazing for my family and I. Take note, I had 3 elderly and 5 adults! It was an amazing experience to see all of the little details that are put into making great Ramen. Each detail and step was explained to us and we were able to try each ingredient individually to give us a better idea of how it all comes together. If you are interested in understanding how a great bowl of ramen comes together this is a must do tour!

it was absolutely amazing. Got a glimpse of okinawa not from a tourist's point of view but hopping from store to store like a local. Loved it.

What a lovely experience making Udon noodles. Chef Chinki was most welcoming and clearly explained every step. She is very passionate about cooking with the best possible fresh ingredients to accompany the udon noodles. Many of them were new to me. Thank you for sharing your skills.

A great session with Takako, learning about Japanese home cooking and the benefits for fermented foods. Tasted koji, kombu, mirin and a variety of soy sauces. Takako then made some healthy and delicious dishes, which was a good change from some heavier restaurant meals. The recipes were also provided! Would definitely recommend.

The experience is speechless and incredible, the step by step tasting help me to understand how the layering of ramen stock become so tasty, where I gained more understanding about umami. You also get a chance to make your own mini ramens as well as a bowl (or two smaller bowls of ramen with 500 yen top up) plus the special dish which incorporates ramen toppings and French cuisine techniques. What a wonderful time spending at the shop. If I really had to suggest only one flavor, the shouyu one is my pick.

A definite highlight of our trip to Japan. From the moment we walked in, Midori-san showed us great hospitality by serving us tea and sweets. She is very friendly and lively, and we felt right at home. She asked about our itinerary and gave us detailed recommendations. This was close to the end of our Japan trip, but I'd strongly recommend booking this near the start so you can benefit most from her suggestions! The cooking class was great and Midori-san was very patient and clear in her instructions. We made vegan onigiri, gyoza and ramen. The onigiri was surprisingly simple to make and we also received printouts of the recipe. After only being back in the US for a few days, I have already made onigiri for lunch. The gyoza and ramen were equally delicious. Make sure to come with an empty stomach! After we finished the food, she even walked us to a nearby supermarket so we could pick up the ingredients to make them at home. Overall, Midori-san went above and beyond to make this a great experience for us. There are of course many things to do in Kyoto, but as a tourist it's rare to be able to have an experience like this where you are welcomed inside a local's home. I strongly recommend this class.

This might easily have been my favorite activity of our Japanese trip! The host was absolutely wonderful, very friendly and easy to talk to. She clearly explained everything we needed to do to cook our meal. The meal was the best food we have had in Japan thus far! I highly recommend!

My son & I had the best time learning how to make sushi & Wagyu beef! Chef & his assistant were professional , sincere, & humorous too! Everything looked so beautiful & tasted delicious! We highly recommend this experience!

A few days ago, we got to go on an awesome food tour by Keigo! Being brand new to Osaka, we wanted to book something a little more laid back than the usual tours in the centre and we absolutely loved this tour. I will try not to spoil too much of what you'll have, but I will say that we had some of the best food the week we spent in Japan there. Not only that, but all 4 locations were unique and really cool, too! I would definitely book this tour again in a heartbeat!
