Our chef and guide, Oumaima, was delightful! Informative, fun and made the whole experience really enjoyable. We started with mint tea and cookies whilst we selected our 3 course menu from the riads cookery book. Then a short visit to the souk to buy our ingredients before heading back to the riad to cook it all up! Once we’d made our 3 courses (3 Moroccan salads, a lamb tagine followed by cinnamon orange slices), we were able to enjoy the fruits of our labour. Highly recommend this experience

We did start the tour with Mohamed our guide food tour. The tour goes from the meeting place to the main fascinating streets of Marrarakech. We had an amazing experience enjoying the tasty food Including : the traditional soup Bissara for breakfast with local bread, then we did attend a cooking class : mororccan briwat + the tagine lamb prunes almandes and dry grippes + patisserie and of course the preparation of the Moroccan tea. Would not recommend- guide picked us up late, we were told the regular kitchen was booked, so we ended up cooking in a tiny crammed kitchen. It was not really interactive, basically the chef was cooking and we were watching her, occasionally chopping a thing or two. No explanations about the dishes and ingredients only when we asked.
