Francesca our guide was so intelligent, informative, and funny! She kept my three teens/young adults engaged in the tour the whole time. Our driver Alessandro was great and prompt . The winery was fantastic! Delicious food and wine. Overall great time.
Sasa was our guide in Pompeii. He is very passionate about Pompeii’s history, correcting all the misconceptions about the city and its demise. We really enjoyed our time with him. Unfortunately there was a landslide on the road to Mt. Vesuvius so we were unable to see it up close. It was too foggy anyway. This meant we had more time with Sasa in Pompeii! There was really informative and insightful information he was able to give us in nearly perfect English. Sass was very personable, entertaining and engaging. He was the highlight of our day. Xaxa our guide at Pompeii clearly enjoys his job. He brought to life our journey through the ruins with anecdotes and humor. Our driver was quiet but efficient and on time. Slightly disappointed with our lunch. We expected some pampering for the price we paid. We picked this tour over others that had “easy lunch“. The wines and food served were good.
