Ginerva was knowledgeable about what she was teaching, the class was very interactive and entertaining, she made us feel relaxed and explained the process and why things were done the way they were. She answered all our questions. I would recommend this class.
My family and I had a great time with the cooking class. We learned so much from Romania. We learned what we were doing wrong when trying to make pasta at home. She answered all of our questions. The pasta making was hands on. We learned how to make ravioli and linguine noodles. We learned step by step from prepping the flour, eggs, etc and how much to prepare per person. On our recent family trip to Rome over the holidays, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch with Romina in her beautiful and cozy kitchen workshop. It was a perfect break between our morning and afternoon tours at the Vatican, and it was just a short walk to get there. She was a fun and gracious host and educator. Our kids unanimously said it was their favorite meal in Rome. They have already planned a pasta-making party with their friends at home to pass along their newly-learned skills!
A week in Rome and this was my favorite experience! Romina is an amazing chef and instructor. She was very accommodating when we added another person last minute. Her kitchen is adorable, and everything we made, ate, and drank was as good as a fine dining experience while taking part in the kitchen! 100% recommend to make this part of your Rome visit.
This was by far the best tour we did in Italy. It’s walking distance from the Vatican we learned how to make ravioli and fettuccini. We were given snacks and wine and were able to eat the pasta we made. And it was delicious!!
