The cooking class with Tomoko was a fantastic experience. She really is a very kind and knowledgeable instructor.
She shared a lot of valuable and practical knowlegde on how to prepare ramen and gyoza - including all the details via email after the class. Tomoko even took the time to show me how to cook japanese rice properly and what to buy in the supermarket.
Great experience, I fully recommend!

You bring us to your home and you taught us to make some really special recepies with japanese ingredients and you helped us to choose those ingredients together in the supermarket! We experienced a wonderful day with our hostess starting with a walk to the local shrine and strolled through the serene gardens. The ramen and gyoza were delicious and her homemade plum wine was excellent. Our hostess went above and beyond to provide us with an enjoyable and awesome experience. We will be sure to recommend this class to others.

I was unfortunately alone for the whole experience. I say unfortunately because Tomoko san is a great host, the food was AMAZING and the afternoon was memorable. She made me taste her homemade plum wine, some pickled cucumbers from her garden and so much more. She makes so much by hand. She de day was full of surprises and I heard about the Japanese hospitality but she went beyond that. I would say it was home away from home but I think I will miss that place when I get back home.
