Hiroshi was a wonderful guide. Easy to talk to and he taught us a lot about the culture and history of Japan. He took us to try a variety of delicous food with very filling portions, and was easily able to accommodate our needs. Great food and great company.

I cant recommend this tour enough! We went for food that you would never find on your own. And then went on a walk to see some beautiful historic sights and take photos without the crowds. Fantastic food, fantastic conversation, fantastic scenery. What more could you ask for? 100% would do it again!

We had so much fun eating and drinking our way through the local hotspots feeling like we were one of them. Hero was a wealth of knowledge and such a lovely host we felt like one of his Friends being shown his favourite restaurants while visiting. Will 100% be on another tour when we return. Can't recommend him high enough.

Hiro was an amazing host! The tour ended up with just me and he made sure to go out of his way to make it extra special. We tried different types of local Japanese izakaya places and there was so many different varieties of food. He then took me to explorethe Gion district at night and knew all the perfect spots to see magical Kyoto. I could not have asked for a more perfect experience thanks to my guide Hiro.

Hiro is an exceptional guide with deep knowledge of the Gion district and the neighbouring districts we walked through. We had an in-depth tour with him we thoroughly enjoyed. We alse were able to spend time with him in a lovely fish restaurant he recommended. The food was amazing and we had a wonderful time with him. We certainly would make an effort to walk with him on any future visits to Kyoto. Thank you Hiro. It was amazing.
