A sake tasting and several Izakaya’s plus an excellent guide (Emmanuel) made this a phantastic experience.

We had a really great time making taiyaki and Anmitsu, so much so that we immediately bought our own taiyaki pan! Worth mentioning that we both have severe allergies and Yuko went to great lengths to accommodate us including sending us pictures of packets to confirm ingredients would be ok and offering to source alternatives if necessary. The class was very organized, the cooking area was clean and tidy, and we generally had a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

Our trip was an absolute treat! What a great way to begin our trip to Japan and our host, Emma, was absolute delight. Food was amazing, the stories will real and educational and the experience was worth every penny. Would absolutely do something like this again. Thank you so much!!

This class was super fun! Yuko-sensei is a gracious host and an excellent teacher. The class is a cozy and welcoming experience in her home, and you'll leave with cute and delicious goodies 💕 I have to be gluten free, so it was really great to have a few experiences I could freely enjoy without worry. Yuko-sensei was very conscientious about allergies and communicated ahead of time to ensure everything was fine. Since I got two lessons, I was able to do them back to back which was very nice! You'll have a great time, get some tasty recipes to replicate at home, and a chance to explore a very cute neighborhood. Go for it!! (Doubling this review for both my taiyaki and wagashi classes. Both were fantastic!)

My daughters and I had a great time making sweets with Yuko! She was very informative, and she was also very careful with our food allergies. We areexcited to try out what we learned at home!

We didn't have a tour with Anne & Lauren. We had our tour with Hannah from the company "arigato TRAVEL." Fortunately, Hannah was an absolute pleasure. Our tour with her amounted to the highlight of my month long trip to Japan. Initially I was a bit disappointed that byFood subcontracted their tours after hearing so many positive things about the company online. But again, Hannah was superb, delivering a tour of the highest standard. Thank you, Hannah! Thank you arigato TRAVEL!

We had an excellent time experiencing the food tour . The guide Miki Yamada was very friendly and gave us a good insight of food culture & traditions of Japan . The food experience was good and the icing on cake was the dessert place she took us . Exploring ginza through the eyes of local was a different experience altogether. Highly recommend it to people who like true travellers want to explore the rich heritage of country.

Our food tour was absolutely fabulous, the food was exceptional and our guide Jacob was very knowledgable of the food, the area, and Japanese culture generally. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

The tour was so great. Hannah, our guide, was super knowledgeable about both the food and Japanese history and customs. I learned heaps, tried some delicious dishes that were just the right amount adventurous, and loved the vibe of the places we visited. Highly recommended!
