An absolute must-do in Tokyo! We boarded a traditional yakatabune houseboat from Tennozu for an omakase cruise, and it completely blew me away. Gliding along the river at night offers a stunning, crowd-free perspective of landmarks like the Tokyo Skytree, Rainbow Bridge, and Odaiba. The staff is incredibly attentive, even pausing the meal so you can step onto the deck for photos. It is easily the most intimate and unique way to see the city lights. The sushi itself is exceptional and worth the price alone. Every course, from the premium tuna to the sea urchin, was fresh, refined, and beautifully crafted. Because you're away from the noisy city streets, the atmosphere inside is quiet and relaxed, letting you truly focus on the food and the chef’s skill. We couldn't ask for a better all-in-one experience – visiting all the big Tokyo landmarks in a classic Japanese cruise while dining on an impeccable sushi omakase. Three hours easily went by as we cruised through the Sumida River with stunning views and indulged in the fresh, melt-in-your-mouth sushi menu. Better not miss this one on your next trip to Tokyo!

It’s one of the best experiences in my life. I booked dinner for my partner’s birthday. I asked the owner if they can prepare birthday cake. They did. The food is super yummy and service is the best. I can’t say enough thanks to the owner, the chef and other staff. We had unforgettable night. Super highly recommend.

This was an awesome hangout with Hiro! My man knows a lot about the history. Walking through Gion District in the evening was such a cool experience. The architecture was soooo beautiful. This place requires a full day of discovery! Hiro was nice enough to bring his professional camera! Took very good pictures of us. Hiro went out of his way beyond just being a 'tour guide'. Hope to hook up with Hiro again on our next visit!

The food was nothing short of sensational. Who knew I would enjoy umami loaded custard as part of the appetisers. I knew I would love the hairy crab and beef with grated Parmesan and truffle and the delightfully curated miso soup, but what was as good as the food was the hospitality and engagement shown by the chef and waiting staff. Just about forgot to look at the sights of the harbour the food and company was so mesmerising.

This was the best money I have spent in a long time. The food was amazing and our host was enthusiastic and charming.

This was definitely the highlight of our Japan trip!
