There was a plentiful assortment of fillings to use, from traditional savoury to sweet chocolate and banana. You can make and eat as many as you can manage. Delicious! Lots of friendly interaction between participants of different nationalities made the experience even more enjoyable.
On the ground knowledge makes this tour company a must for touring Bejing & trying Hutong experiences. The knowledge is home grown.
I did the jian bing workshop with some of my friends in September. It was a ton of fun! I really enjoyed getting to make as many jian bings as I wanted and getting to both make the dough and cook it on the pan myself. I definitely needed a few tries to get the technique down, but it was so much fun and delicious! Dom taught a group of my daughter's middle school-aged friends and their parents how to make jian bing over the CNY holiday. It is a fun mid-day activity that sets you up with a full belly and the know-how for making this delicious Beijing street food staple at home. Thanks, Dom!
Me and my friends experienced Hutong adventure and jiangbing workshop. We had so much fun. And we would like to explore more! Highly recommended!
