Great tour of West Town!
Henry was a knowledgeable guide. He was great with communication before the day of the tour. He was very accommodating for our group’s needs. Highly recommend any of his tours!

Henry was a GREAT tour guide!!
Henry did a great job and was very informative! I especially enjoyed the history involving the indoor pool and synchronized lifting of the city on jacks without disturbing the shopping! He answered all our questions and even offered to email us a list of his favorite restaurants! 5 STARS! Thanks Henry!

Personal and informative
I enjoyed how the tour was catered to our interest. Not only did we eat food that is known for the area but also the history and architecture around the food industry.

Chicago’s Hidden Layers: Beer Barons, Malört & Secret Punch
My daughter, her friend, and I spent an unforgettable afternoon with Henry from Portal Tours in Wicker Park, and it was the highlight of our Chicago visit. We met Henry at the Gurgoyle Fountain. The original had been taken out in 1908 replaced with a plain jet spray, but they recreated it to its original design under the 2nd Mayor Dailey in 2002.
