We watched Chef Eric cook some of New Orleans’ most famous Cajun & Creole dishes, learned about the history of them and his tips for preparing them, and then we got to eat them. We had gumbo, red beans & rice with a cornbread muffin, pecan pie, and a fresh, warm praline! Mmmmmm!
The class was amazing. The chef was funny as well as very thorough in explaining the steps of the recipes he was making. Lots of cooking hints about temperatures, proper cookware, etc. Several choices of menu items depending on the day and time you booked. We got seconds on almost every meal item.
Chef was humorous, and entertaining. I loved that w the mirror we could see everything that was prepared and what he was doing. He invited questions, which was helpful for me as i had a cple. The food was amazing.
Chef Diann was amazing & very informative she was also witty it was a good experience. The food was good.
Had a great time. And the instructor was very engaging. Loved the history of the different dishes and everything was delicious.
