Richard is an excellent guide-enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We walked all over old Perugia and visited some small long-established artisanal procedures from pasticcheria to truffles to chocolate to gelato with local wine and beer. A thoroughly enjoyable morning!

Our guide, Richard, is an ex-pat who has lived in Perugia for over a decade. He provided great information about the city, region and food. Tastings were excellent (the chocolate was my favorite). Fun way to explore a new city. Tip- don’t cut the pasta. Swirl it on your fork. Trust us- we learned the hard way. 😂

Sue and Richard are great tour guides. Ex-pats from USA they now live in Perugia and know the food, drink, history and culture of Umbria. The food and drink was plentiful, informative and joyful. Join them after the tour at their son’s bar near the main town square. A wonderful food tour!
