Our guide, Laiana, was absolutely superb. She was personable, knowledgeable and warm. By the end of the tour, we had forgotten that she was a tour guide. It felt like we were exploring the city with a friend who wanted to show us her favorite spots.

Absolute 30 out of 10 experience!!! We had so much fun, can only recommend it to everyone.

Ryo and Akiko were fantastic hosts! We learnt a lot about the Golden Gai area, from the Hanazono Shrine to the bars in the area. They were very knowledgeable and friendly in our conversations and whisky tastings. The whiskys were diverse and high quality, and we learnt a lot about the history of whisky in Japan. The food provided was also tasty and accompanied the whiskys very well. We appreciated the planning that went into our tour, including the frequent communication and directions leading up to the day, and asking about our preferred music. We highly recommend this tour to whisky lovers! It was the perfect surprise for my husband’s 50th birthday! Thank you Ryo and Akiko!

Rio, the lady bartender, and her assistant on food pairings—all lovely—were exceptional and fun. The bartender was a true Ice Master and she prepared the best miso soup I ever had. I would say not to miss this fun and intimate drinking experience in Tokyo!

This was an exceptional whisky tasting experience delivered by my guide Dan. He's very knowleadgeable and passionate about japanese whisky and whisky in general, and the selection chosen for the tasting was very good.

'요시'상께서 테이스팅 진행을 맡아주셨습니다. 일본의 위스키에 대해서 잘몰랐는데 여러가지 위스키를 마시면서 '요시'상이 친절하게 설명해주니 일본의 위스키에 대해 배울 수 있었습니다. ('요시'상이 영어를 잘한다는 부분도 참고하면 좋겠네요) 저 혼자서 예약해서 진행했음에도 편안한 분위기에서 즐길 수 있었습니다. 한국에서 구할 수 없거나 처음보는 위스키를 소개해주기에 위스키에 대해 어느정도 알더라도 새로운 경험이 될거라 생각합니다. 6박7일의 도쿄여행에서 가장 기억에 남는 좋은 추억이었습니다. 추가적으로 간식은 과자, 초콜릿을 제공하고 사진촬영과 동영상 녹화도 흔쾌히 허락해주십니다. "Yoshi" hosted the tasting event. I didn't know much about Japanese whiskey, but I was able to learn about it because "Yoshi" explained it kindly while drinking various whiskies. (Please refer to the fact that "Yoshi" is good at English.) I made a reservation by myself, but I was able to enjoy it in a comfortable atmosphere. I think it will be a new experience even if I know a little about whisky because it is not available in Korea or introduces me to whisky that I have never seen before. It was my most memorable trip to Tokyo for seven days. Additionally, snacks and chocolates are provided, and photos and video recordings are readily allowed.

Dan Ozu was very knowledgeable about Japanese whiskies. He catered my tasting based on what I liked. He knew which whiskies came from which Prefactures, as well as explaining the history behind Japanese whiskies. Overall, I give Dan 10/10 for his knowledge and experience. I'll definitely do this tasting again when I'm in Tokyo.

What a great time. Momo and Ryo were so accommodating and knowledgeable. The whisky was exceptional and the combination with snacks was perfect. Ryo and Momo were so nice and engaging it made the whole experience like being at a familiar local spot you have been going to your whole life. I couldn't recommend this experience more. I can't wait to come back. (Say yes to the food and anything that is suggested).

Amazing experience tasting sakes with Suemi! Very close to the train station, lots of different types of sake. Would recommend!

All I can say is WOW. I took this tour with Ryo and Momo with a colleague and fellow whiskey lover. To say we were impressed is an understatement. The tour of first the shire and then the Golden Gai area was informative and just the right level of detail before diving into the tasting. The tasting was superb, with an amazing selection of superb Japanese Whiskeys complemented by snacks and a light meal. The conversation, knowledge sharing and food and drink all exceeded all our expectations! Thank you Ryo and Momo for the unforgettable memories. Can’t wait to come back on my next trip. I’ll certainly book this tour again!

This is a must do for anybody who would like to have an introduction to Japanese whiskey. Shugo, my guide for the whiskey journey, met me at the appointed place and brought me to the whiskey tasting room. He then told me about the origins of Japanese whiskey and how it has developed since. Then we started the tasting with Shugo seeking to get a feel for my particular whiskey taste so that he could select the appropriate Japanese whiskies to try. For me it was a great experience to be able to taste a wide range of Japanese whiskies from throughout Japan to understand the variety of aroma, simplicity or complexity of taste, and lightness or sharpness on the throat. Definitely so very interesting and unique whiskies. We had a good discussion and Shugo has perfect English which made for a very interesting sharing of whiskey experiences.
