Carlo was wonderful! I learned so many new techniques in this class. We had a great time talking about food and wine. Highly recommend!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our Cesarine cooking class in Florence. Our host, Carlo, welcomed us into his home and made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The class was completely personal—just the two of us—which made it feel relaxed, authentic, and very special. Chef Luca is an incredibly talented chef and insightful teacher. We dined on delicious delicacies and he had an ingenious approach to cooking and teaching. Chef Luca focused on all senses, taste, touch, smell, sight and yes, even sound and hearing as he described the sound you hear when you dip a spoon into perfectly made tiramisu. Love that. This was, by far, the highlight of our trip through Italy. The experience started right when we drove up to their gate, where Paolo greeting us like we were family. He then took us through and showed us his garden while getting to know us (he speaks phenomenal English). Their property is stunning, with a beautiful view over the Tuscan countryside that leaves one breathless. Christina brought us out the most amazing bruschetta, and the cooking experience began.
