We had a wonderful time at this cooking class! Getting to the café was relatively easy. We shared a taxi with other visitors, so we only had to wait a couple of minutes for it to fill up. The process was simple, and it cost just $5 per person to get to the area. We made tacos al pastor with guacamole and pico de gallo, and everything was delicious! A unique excursion unlike any other. The staff was extremely friendly and cooking was fun! We even got to take our aprons home and the recipe and some spices.
Fun experience! Getting there was an easy 10 minute 5 dollar per person taxi ride. There are 300 taxis in the port that all charge a fixed rate of $5pp. There are lots of shops and tons and tons of beach massage gals giving 1 hour $25 massages. Cafe jaguar was great. It’s clean, lots of fans to keep you cool. They greet you with a cold water or beverage. It was really nice to not be upsold on every little thing. Excellent tour! Teacher was kind and engaging. Everything was easy to make and prep was already done. They were very accommodating and hospitable, definitely recommend.
