Essential Toulouse with Julie!
A trip to Toulouse France could not be started without wine and cheese. Amateurs we are, so we booked onto this tour to get an idea of what we was drinking and eating.
Julie was our local guide, from Toulouse, and speaks perfect English, meeting promptly at 6pm on a Friday. Friendly and highly knowledgeable as a professional Sommelier. 3 wine bars, all different from each other, wine at each and charcuterie wine and meat at the last as a welcome local light snack taken from local suppliers.

Popping out for the evening with a good friend is exactly how we hope the Wine Bar Tour feels, and I'm delighted Julie gave you just that. It sounds like she had a good answer for every question you threw at her. Excellent wine bar tour
Excellent tour with a local guide who is a qualified sommelier. We were a group of 4. We visited 3 wine bars and shared about 4 bottles during the tour. All local region wines. At the last bar there was a generous plate of cheese and meats to share. What I like most is the knowledge the guide shares with you about this wine region, which is not well known. It is the insight that makes a trip like this so enjoyable and fun.

Four bottles shared across three bars is a lovely way to get to know a region. I love that Julie's knowledge stood out most for you, since the wines around Toulouse rarely get the attention they deserve. The platter at the last stop is all regional products, there for everyone to try their own pairings. I'm really glad you wrote this up - thank you. Sounds like Julie found you the version of Toulouse most visitors never see - that wander off the main streets is baked into the route, and we love watching people relax into it once wine's in hand. Le Clos d'Audhuy's malbec is one of my favorite pours to introduce people to - it's so surprising! Thanks for such a lovely review. - Jessica
