After arriving down a tight driveway (typical Naxos), and being welcomed; you check out the farm, say hi to the goats, pick veg, do the slicing and dicing, take a walk to see more of the land and learn a bit of the history, and come back to a nice dinner followed by some dancing. It was a great way to spend the afternoon and evening. Wonderful family running the place.
This was so much fun! A highlight of Naxos for sure! The tour was very informative, but not too much. The food was amazing and the dancing was too! I recommend for groups big and small!
This was so much more than a cooking class—it was a truly wonderful Greek experience! The class took place on a beautiful family farm that has been in the same family for eight generations. We toured the farm, explored the fruit, nut, and olive trees, and even met the farm animals, including sheep that provide the milk for their delicious cheeses and yogurt. We had an amazing time at the Basilico farm last night. The food was outstanding as were the tours and the dancing. It is an absolutely wonderful experience, don’t miss out!
Wonderful experience. Jacob was a terrific host. Food was great and plentiful. Wine was too. Had a lot of fun cutting up the herbs vegetables and stuffing them. Definitely a must. Walk included going through the farm and learning about the history of the area. Drive to the farm is a little difficult. Greek dancing was fun. Breaking plates ended the evening on a high note.
