Had a really great time making traditional Samarkand bread! The host was very friendly and welcoming, and it was really interesting to learn about the culture and traditions around Samarkand bread while making it myself. Definitely one of my favorite experiences in Samarkand!

The tour was amazing! We learned a lot about how important and beloved bread is in Uzbek culture. We were able to watch the entire bread-making process up close—how the bakers prepare the dough, shape it, stick it onto the wall of the oven, control the heat, add water, and finally take the bread out using special tools.
