Berkeley is so much more than just the campus!
We had a great time walking in and around the campus on a beautiful sunny day. There's actually a lot to Berkeley other than the school. Since the campus is so diverse the food picks were innovative and from all around the world. Our guide used to be a local chef so he gave many insights into the history of the neighborhoods and how the landscape has changed over the years. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely do it again and recommend.

Berkeley Walking Tour - Summer 2026
I loved this tour! I've lived in Berkeley for 20 years & this tour was a really great way to get to know the city even more. The guide was knowledgeable & shared a lot of great facts & anecdotes. The food we tried was so good & such a treat. Check out this tour if you're visiting or if you're a local! You won't be disappointed.

If Berkeley has a good scene, you won’t find it here.
This was a disappointing tour. I was starving at the end of it. One of the main stops, Cheeseboard Pizza, was closed for a week. Did the guide not do his homework? Worse, there was no alternate place substituted. The food included two potato puffs, a seaweed-wrapped rice with a small meat portion and a huge cupcake. Hardly well-rounded. I’ve been on food tours all over the world and have never been left hungry. For the $78 I spent I could have enjoyed a nice dinner with food that I would enjoy.

Hello - I am so sorry that Cheeseboard was closed! They are a small business and when they take vacations can be sporadic and unpredictable so I apologize that it impacted your tour. We never want to disappoint our guests or leave anyone hungry! Please contact me directly so I can make it up to you with another tour or partial refund. Thank you for your feedback.
