Wonderful experience in a genuine home kitchen!
Wow!! This is exactly the experience we were seeking. Pasta making class in a local home in Bologna. This is not a fancy class in a commercial kitchen - rather, it is a down to earth home kitchen with an expert pasta maker who does this for her family every day. She shared stories of how she learned to make pasta as a child, while showing our 2 & 6 year old children how to make their first pastas (tortellini, bowtie, and tagliatelle). Amazing!
Can we give more than 5 stars? What an amazing experience for the family! Irene was the best. She valued families and teaching younger teens the art of cooking. The food was delicious and the other 3 families that were there were great! Highly recommend.

Highlight of our Bologna trip
What a great experience. We had a wonderful evening at Irene's and Marco's place, learned a lot about making pasta, had a very tasty dinner, and just had a lot of fun. Absolutely recommended!

Humble Setting, Excellent Teaching
We chose this class with Irene after reading that she welcomes children and teens, and that she has a daughter around. The apartment is simple and humble, as shown in the pictures, and the class takes place in the living room. We were a group of six family members/friends, plus two other participants. We were asked to change the time of our class, and Marco was very supportive throughout the process -- everything worked out smoothly. We drove there ourselves, and Marco welcomed us downstairs.
