Very nice trip! The driver Emmanuel was very flexible and friendly and told us interesting facts about the plants we encountered on our way. The 2 hour hike was very pleasant and the views were breathtaking. The coffee experience was very entertaining! We won't forget it in a long time :)
The tour was amazing, firstly, you do the 30-45 minute walk around the Chagga villages and in the wilderness to get to the waterfall. You can swim or just stand there, amazed on the incredible nature of that spot. After that, you’ll live an amazing experience on how the local tribes produce coffee, with their chants and energy, and of course, get a taste of it. The experience is super recommended, and you can get a good picture of the Kilimanjaro.

Together with Deus I walk up to the waterfall. Even if it is rainy season I would suggest to enjoy the trip, the place is amazing! People in Materuni are very friendly, and Mama Agnes at the coffee plantation prepares such good dishes for lunch!!! And what else... Cannot not talk about the guys who teach you how to prepare coffe! So funny and kind! Asante Sana

While our friends lounged by the hotel pool for the last day in Arusha, two of us decided to try this hike to the waterfalls and lesson in coffee making. Teaching us about village customs, native plants, and area history, our guide could not have been more informative or delightful. The walk was up-hill both coming and going, but even at 63 and very out-of-shape I did ok. Definitely suggest wearing hiking boots. The waterfall is beautiful and well worth the hike.
