It was great

I had the pleasure of joining the Kyoto Kimono Experience, which included a beautiful kimono rental, a limousine ride, and an exquisite kaiseki meal. The entire experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto. The kimono shop, located near Kyoto Station, offered a great variety. With help from the friendly staff, I chose a vibrant yellow kimono, while my friend opted for a striking black one. They provided accessories, geta sandals, and ensured my kimono was comfortably tied. I felt stunning and ready for the day! Our driver and guide were welcoming, helping us pose with props like a katana and umbrella. The drive to the restaurant was about 25 minutes, relaxed, and full of photo opportunities. At the restaurant, we were warmly greeted and led to a beautiful Japanese-style room. The kaiseki meal was delicious, featuring some of the best sushi I’ve tasted. Portions were light, as they accompany a tea ceremony, and the chef’s greeting added a special touch. Overall, the Kyoto Kimono Experience, Kaiseki Dining & Limousine Ride was truly memorable. The friendly staff, lovely kimonos, and incredible food made it an unforgettable day. This is a luxurious and immersive way to enjoy Japanese culture!

The tour was a wonderful experience. From start to finish, every detail was taken care of, and the immersion into Japanese culture was amazingly well executed. Whether at the Kimono house or the Traditional restaurant, the staff made us feel like special guests, making the experience completely worthwhile. I really enjoyed myself and highly recommend the tour.

This tour was absolutely wonderful because of our particular guide, Sae. She developed a great spirit amongst the participants and educated us all in a gentle manner. We had a terrific time.

Emma was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the history of the area, as well as Japanese literature and culture. It was a delight to walk Gion and see Geisha, Maiko, and the beautiful and historic buildings. We ended the evening with an exceptional meal at a local Kaiseki restaurant, where the service can only be described as fantastic. The food was well presented and flavorful, and Emma ensured communicated with the staff at each course and explained what we were eating, as well as how to traditionally enjoy it. The other members of our tour all found Emma to be knowledgeable, affable, and an excellent guide. Enjoy this tour, and ask for Emma!

We had an amazing tour with Marie! She was an incredible host, amazing facts and knowlegde about Gion and her english was suburb! The dinner was super nice too! We even had the special opportunity to meet a real Maiko! A once in a lifetime experience! Would definitely recommend booking this tour with Marie! 10/10*

One of the things on my Japan bucklist was to learn more about Japanese geisha so I booked this tour in the main geisha district - I thought it would be about right. On the tour we saw 3 Maiko and it was amazing! Our guide, Lauren, was great and shared so much information about Japanese culture, history, and tradition. The food was awesome and it was great to interact with other people in the group. Very rewarding - I can't recommend it highly enough, thanks for the tour Lauren!

We enjoyed this tour on our magical last night in Japan, we had a really memorable time with Yoshi! She showed us the Gion area and streets across the river at sunset. We snacked our way along as we explored the quaint shops. Yoshi was a very personable guide with a warm nature. In a very approachable and inviting style, she taught us about Japanese culture and the language, we just adored her by the end of the tour! Yoshi made great selections for food as well. Really interesting tour, delicious food, overall exceptional quality. Exploring Kyoto with delicious treats was amazing! Arigatou!!!

The Kyoto Gion tour was thoroughly enjoyable. Our guides Hiroe and Agustin took us for a lovely walk around Gion and Pontocho - very pleasant and informative. We stopped en route to have sweets, but the highlight was the kaiseki dinner we ate with our guides at Yoshina. The food was served in a beautiful private room along the river - wonderful food too! Best of all was the conversations we had during the tour with like minded travelers. We were able to learn a lot about Kyoto and Japan/Japanese culture. This experience was a fantastic way to enjoy an evening in Kyoto, definitely unique!
