Osaka 魚素選擇 章魚燒 美食之旅

Great time had at Osaka food tour. Decent, local food stops navigated by a knowledgeable guide who was equally engaging with the two kids, their mum and dad and us two random Scots who made up our group. Everyone enjoyed, and i’d recommend for sure.

This was a really great experience. Backstreets for sure, and in places, tough and seedy ones where I never would have ventured as a solo woman traveler. Knox really knew his stuff about the neighborhoods, and how organized crime works, and we even walked through a red light district that was nothing I'd ever seen before, anywhere. I definitely have an expanded sense of Osaka and Japan now. Castles and shrines are wonderful, but this was much better, and I'm glad its in my mix of complicated Japan, because its under the surface. Way under!

Great and fast way to experience what Shinsekai has to offer.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and it was a unique look at Osaka. Dinner was a bonus for sure. Highly recommended.

We did a food tour in Osaka and it was a such a great and fun experience. Doing Japan for the first time I would highly recommend to do your food tour here in Osaka, the food capitol and you get the opportunity to experience it with Knox ( shout to our heavy metal, head banger) tour guide. Not only he was fun and knowledgeable he made our experience much fun! Thank you

I’ve been to Osaka a few times already and tried to explore the food scene on my own, but this experience definitely highlighted more local spots that I’ve passed without even realizing they were there. Bernie was a great guide and a gracious host. He provided a mix of local history and food history as we roamed Shinsekai. There was a good variety of food and drink. Every dish brought a unique flavor to the experience. Overall great time, highly recommend it for anyone that has a few hours to go on some Osaka food exploration.

I had a great time on this tour getting a taste of Shinsekai. Bernie was an excellent and friendly guide, and you will certainly get your fill of food and drinks. I highly recommend it!

Brian and Knox were awesome , both full of info and great at explaining the local Japanese culture and history .For those of you who like a bit of grit and realism this is the tour you want

Our food tour of Osaka was incredible! Mio was a wonderful guide and it was clear that she was sharing her passion for both food and her hometown with all of us. She kept the tour going at a great pace and provided us with a lot of great information along with the food and drinks. We would highly recommend this tour!

This food tour was excellent. Our tour guide, Suga, was knowledgeable and funny. We tried so many dishes and left feeling very full! As a vegetarian, I had delicious alternatives and never felt like I was missing out.

Perfect night out for a solo traveller- some new friends to dine with and lots of dishes to try whilst wandering around (you’re walking off dinner as it’s happening) and learning interesting facts about Osaka. If you’re doing a solo trip- definitely put this on your itinerary and avoid a night of Konbini food.

Amazing food and a great atmosphere! Suga was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Every dish was delicious, but my favourites were the udon and the takoyaki. Suga also gave us some history of Shinsekai and Osaka and took us to some landmarks like the Tsutenkaku tower. Highly recommend!
