We had a fantastic time at this ramen cooking class and really loved the concept. Cooking together in a Japanese home kitchen made the experience feel authentic, personal, and very different from a typical cooking workshop. Nahoko is a very warm and welcoming host who created a relaxed atmosphere from the beginning and explained every step clearly.
She also shared interesting background information about ramen, the ingredients, and the techniques, which made the class even more meaningful. The course was hands-on, well organized, and enjoyable throughout. We all enjoyed it very much and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable cooking experience.

The cooking class was a great experience! Kaori was a great host. She picked us up at the train station and showed us around in a grocery store to see all the ingredients. Then we drove to her house, a great extra addition and atmosphere to be cooking at someone’s home in Japan. The food was truly delicious ; one of the best ramen I ever had! Great addition to your travel itinerary if you’re into food.

It was such a good time making delicious vegan ramen with Nahoko-san. She is a great teacher and I really enjoyed getting to meet and talk with her.
The ramen we made was delicious. I had never tried to make noodles before and with her help made some wonderful noodles with just the right level of tenderness. The topping included a chili-oil soy crumble which added was just the right balance to the soup.
I only hope that I am able to make such wonderful ramen on my own using her recipe!

We had such an amazing cooking class. The food was superb, Kaori the instructor has wonderful English and was very easy to follow. She started by picking us up at the train station, then going to a nearby grocery store so we knew what ingredients we would be working with. After some lovely iced green tea we started on lunch. She made what we thought were complicated dishes feel easy. She gave us helpful tips on the Japanese language, important phrases to know, and names of some great restaurants. The cooking was fun, very informational, and the food was amazing! Her goal was to make us feel comfortable and confident that we could cook this meal at home. We left full, happy, and motivated to make this dishes part of our regular cooking.

Kaori was a great host. She was lovely to chat to, helped us make amazing food and showed us where to buy ingredients in the shop. We made amazing food we can’t wait to cook for family and friends. 100% recommend if you’re looking for a tasty ramen and gyoza recipe.

What an amazing experience. Kaori our host was so gracious and friendly and her English was great. She took the time to take us on a tour around the supermarket to teach us the ingredients before we went back to her place. Not only did she demonstrate but we also got to join in. She had easy to read printed cards and recipes. The food was amazing. So simple that we can replicate it at home but so tasty and delicious. Book straight in to do her class, you will be glad you did. One of the best experiences on our trip around Japan.

We absolutely loved our gluten free ramen class with Nahoko. Nahoko made us feel at home from the very start of the cooking class, getting to know each other and teaching us about the different types of umami that help to make a dish. We prepared and cooked each element of ramen - broth, noodles, chilli oil and toppings from scratch.
I now can understand my husband’s love for ramen, it tasted so unbelievably good - still dreaming of it! 100% recommend to everyone who wishes for delicious ramen.
