Wonderful experience with Aki learning more about Japanese food and drink culture, with tons of delicious food in establishments that truly felt local. We were also super grateful for him working around a gluten sensitivity and saw that he was attentive to various food preferences amongst our group. Learned about the Ueno area and had an all around fantastic time!

Aki was an incredible guide, very personable and an all around pleasure to spend an evening with. Even more impressive was his ability to work with my wife’s Celiac disease. Thank you to Aki for providing our group of 4 a wonderful food sampling tour. I am a celiac and was very pleased that you were able to accommodate me. I know finding gluten free options is not always the easiest thing to do in Japan! Our group enjoyed the eclectic and interesting food choices! Aki took us to a part of Tokyo I would not have seen otherwise, down narrow streets packed with restaurants and bars, some of them under the train tracks. Delicious sake, sashimi, grilled meat, ramen and a friendly and personable host. Seeing a tiny bar with friendly customers was a highlight. Come very hungry!
