Did a Shibuya food tour with Mitsoku on 4/24 and have to say it was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Took us places that was hard to find if you never been here. We'll worth it and thank you Mitsy!

Amber was amazing, she really knows the places around Shibuya. We had a wonderful time, tried several foods and had the opportunity to discuss with her more about food :). She was very open to learn what we loved and made sure we go to the right places. We went for sushi, wagyu beef (the places with the inside grill - tried out several beef cuts - all delicious), octopus spheres (forgot the name of the dish) and some Japanese sweets (several kinds of mochi). We really enjoyed our food, time and Amber's company and had insightful conversations. She also recommended some other places to check out, so definetly will give those a try as well. The food tour was amazing! Our tour guide Hamada was knowledgeable, engaging, and went out of his way so we could experience a very specific dessert we wanted to try. We had a great time and I highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience all the different foods that Tokyo has to offer.

Naoto was a great guide. My friend and I ended up being the only ones on the tour so it was like we had our own private tour guide. Naoto took us to eat sushi, wagu beef, takoyaki, karaage, and dorayaki. Although the food was good, I was hoping that we got to eat something different that would introduce us to a new Japanese dish/food. One of the restaurants that we went to, Gyu-Kaku, is a chain that we also have in America, which I’ve been to before so I was hoping to eat at a restaurant that I haven’t been to that was unique to Japan. This is why I gave this tour a 4 stars and not 5 stars.

Hiromi was an excellent guide once again. Love how she was attentive to things I liked by asking questions and even changing up the tour on the fly as I was the only one on the tour. I experienced hidden gems of a restaurants e.g. sky scaper restaurant serving Hokkaido with tremendous views of Tokyo, but equally felt like a local going restaurant that the locals would go.

We participated in the tour as a family of four, including our two children aged four and six. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious sushi, grilled meat, and desserts, leaving us all happily full. Although our two energetic sons were a bit noisy at times, Mr. Hamada, our guide, was very kind and accommodating. It was especially appreciated that children could join for free, truly making it a kid-friendly tour. It was also excellent to learn about the halal restaurants. Experiencing the local atmosphere of Asakusa made this a memorable tour. I highly recommend it to everyone, whether you’re traveling with children or not.

The highlight of the tour was the fantastic sushi we tried—each bite was fresh, flavorful, and expertly crafted. Suzuki's knowledge of the local food scene and his passion for sharing Japanese cuisine made the experience even more special. What truly set Suzuki apart was his kindness and attentiveness. When I mentioned that my back was hurting, he went out of his way to take us to a nearby pharmacy to get some medicine. This extra effort made all the difference and showed how much he genuinely cared about our well-being. He'll ensure you have a memorable experience filled with delicious food and thoughtful service.

Our tour guide Himad , was incredibly accommodating, making everyone feel welcome and engaged throughout the experience. What stood out the most was he truly understood the local food culture, sharing fascinating stories and insights that enhanced our appreciation for the cuisine. The tour included a variety of delicious stops, from street food to hidden gems, each offering a unique flavor of the area. I appreciated how Himad tailored the experience to cater to our preferences and dietary needs, ensuring that everyone had something to enjoy. Overall, it was a delightful experience that not only satisfied my taste buds but also deepened my understanding of the local culinary scene. Islam was lovely. A very thoughtful and considerate guide. He read us immediately and clearly adapted his tour and chatter to maximise our experience. We were a family of 8 including kids, teenagers and adults yet he kept us all entertained. His insights into the culture and local food were fascinating. We went to three restaurants that we would never have found otherwise. Thank you Islam ☺️
