Fantastic time. Was one of the main reasons for coming to Fukuoka and was not disappointed.

Our guide, Laiana, was absolutely superb. She was personable, knowledgeable and warm. By the end of the tour, we had forgotten that she was a tour guide. It felt like we were exploring the city with a friend who wanted to show us her favorite spots.

Such a fun night! Yoshi took us to great places, shared wonderful food, drink and energy with our group. We had the best time and it was a perfect introduction to the city. Also loved the language and culture insights…and did I mention the food :)

The brewery tour was interesting. It was not the season for it to be running but we were able to see all the working parts. The host in Japanese was a bit long winded and thankfully our guide did not translate everything he said but it did make the tour drag on a bit. However all was good as our guide suggested a wonderful place for us to have lunch and end our day on a good note.

Touring with Yoshi was super fun. We had an outstanding variety of food and nightlife and would absolutely recommend this trip to others. Thanks, Yoshi!

What a wonderful way to explore a city! Trey took us down some dark alleys and I loved it! It was exactly what I was looking for. Very small and intimate venues I never would have found or ventured into on my own. A true Osaka experience! Thank you!

Yoshi was excellent from minute one. All the facts about the food and drink culture for the areas we visited. Funny and engaging with very good English language and care.

Dan was a great host! We had a fun time at both bars we visited. The bartenders were welcoming and Dan did a great job explaining everything.

Another great experience with this team. Experiencing these tucked away izakayas and tiny bars with a knowledgeable guide is priceless. Gave us the courage to explore on our own the following night. Not to be missed tour!

If you’re interested in checking out Yatai food stalls in Fukuoka, this is the way to do it! It’s also a great first-night adventure in the city because Bruce is extremely knowledgeable and shares generously. My partner and I spent 4+ hours with Bruce, and we’d do it again in a heartbeat. We walked all over the city and stopped in three different Yatai stalls, eating tapas/pintxos style. Every bite of food and each drink we tried was delicious. It was a great intro to Fukuoka/Hakata, and a perfect way to visit the Yatai stalls, which could be intimidating to navigate for the first time on your own.
