We visited this Kobe beef restaurant during our honeymoon in Japan, and it was truly one of the most memorable meals of our entire trip. Not only was the beef absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious, but the staff went above and beyond to make our experience special. They took pictures of us with their awarded Kobe beef, made us balloon animals, and printed out the picture for us to take home! Even with the language barrier, they made such a genuine effort to communicate with us—using gestures, google trsnalre, simple English, smiles, and lots of warmth. We felt so welcomed and cared for. They explained the different cuts, showed us how to enjoy each one properly, and checked in often to make sure we were having a wonderful time. Their kindness, patience, and hospitality made the dinner feel personal and unforgettable. If you’re visiting Japan—especially for a special occasion—this place is a must-try. Truly exceptional food and even more exceptional people. Highly, highly recommend! 🥩✨❤️

Great restaurant. The staff-san(s) were super friendly and attentive. My Japanese is so-so but we were easily able to communicate even have some light banters. The amount of food for the course was perfect and you get a good cross section of ingredients to enjoy. Highly recommend to visit. Will definitely plan to repeat if I'm in Kobe again!

It was an extremely pleasant lunch at En Steak house. Chef and waitress was quick with serving the food, and super attentive. We also ordered additional miso soup on top of our course meal, but they serve it to us for free! Beef was really good too! Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to experience good Kobe beef teppanyaki. A little pricey, but definitely worth it.

This was a 5-star experience all around. We rarely splurge on meals like this, but En Steakhouse did not disappoint. The beef is sublime, and the awards on the countertop prove it. The teppanyaki experience was a lot of fun, watching your food get cooked by a master chef. Each side dish complemented the meal, and nothing overpowered the main attraction: Kobe wagyu steak. We especially appreciated the bonus desert in honour's of our 10th wedding anniversary. We had no issues when we arrived with our reservation, in fact, they were ready when we arrived 10 minutes early. The directions to the restaurant were spot on. I'd have never found the elevator on Google. Finally, they completely accommodated a shellfish allergy with thoughtful substitutions. My plate was of equal size to my partners (a rarity with substitutions). Never once did I feel that it was an inconvenience, which I appreciated most. Overall, this was a fantastic, once in a lifetime experience for us.

Best meal in Japan. So kind staff and they take good care of the customers. My wife left crying of happiness from the restaurant. If you want to experience good Kobe beef restaurant, choose En steakhouse

Incredible experience. Chef had limited English so we conversed using google translate. Food was fantastic, including the items other than the Kobe beef. The asparagus soup stood out especially. Will recommend to all I know going through Japan.

What an incredible experience at Kobe En Steakhouse! We were greeted warmly and although early, we were sat at the bar and made to feel welcome. We were assigned our own chef for our specific Kobe beef tasting experience, and he was absolutely brilliant. Despite the language barrier, we communicated through the love of food, and he loved making us happy. The food was absolutely delicious and well worth the trip. We had a fantastic evening, and they even gave us a souvenir photo to take home! We loved every minute of it.

My husband and I would go again in a heart beat! The meat was delicious, experience amazing and very friendly staff. The best steaks we have ever had.

Had a wonderful time at En Steakhouse. The hospitality was great with the chef appearing to enjoy cooking for us as well as showcasing the food in a way we could take photographs! This was our first time to try Kobe beef in Kobe and the set menu was a great introduction to not only try the beef, but other foods at the restaurant!

The food was phenomenal and the service was wonderful. It was clear the chefs took great pride in the quality of their work. It was great fun to see them display their skill. Every course was delicious and beautifully presented. This was truly a unique experience you could not find anywhere else.

I am writing this on the day I came back from a 16 day incredible trip to Japan. I saw the Japan by food with Shizuka Anderson video on En Steak and had decided that was the place I want to experience the Kobe beef. 6 months ago as I was planning a trip to Japan to visit with my son and daughter in law who are both Marines stationed on Okinawa. When I heard the news Japan had opened travel restrictions, reservations were made and it next thing I know I am on my way to Japan. After a wonderful trip to Okinawa we flew to Kobe for a few days. We arrived and had the 5 to 7 time dinner reservation which I forgot to mention was very easy to make. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and sat down at the teppanyaki counter. The restaurant is on the 3rd floor and we had a very nice backdrop of the street. If you have not seen the You Tube video, I highly reccommend doing so as it went exactly as you see. The courses were all delicious and we were given enough time to enjoy each course. My first bite of Kobe beef was the appetizer Kobe roast beef and it did not disapoint - delicious! The salad and the clam chowder were also incredible. Vegitable was cooked and served and then we watched as the chef prepared both cuts of Kobe beef filet and sirloin. He is a very skilled and entertaining chef by the way. I still don’t know which cut was better, I guess I will have to come back again as both just melted in your mouth. Bottom line, it was an incredible experience that you must try!

The service and the food was amazing at this restaurant. We went on a special day, and the owner decided to open multiple Ace of Spades for all the guests! However, aside from that, the food was great, the experience was very professional and high-class, and the people working there were all great!
