I hired Bruce to provide a Samurai House Tour for my Father and Mother, visiting Fukuoka on a cruise-stopover. My greatest hope was satisfied, as my parents departed the tour and city with a great impression. They loved the experience and they hope to return. My father even recently expressed to me that some things had happened in his life and career that he couldn't wait to share with Bruce. You could say that my parents left with a fantastic impression. I owe Bruce and his team for taking such great care of my parents, and I am very, very thankful for his energy, the work he does, his passion, and his continued service in sharing the Japan he loves with the people who have yet to come to know it. Bruce is a well known, upstanding character in the Fukuoka expat community and I'll just say one big last humongous THANK YOU!!! It was a wonderful tour of a serene and scenic spot after an authentic Japanese meal. Our guide, Bruce, was extremely warm, adaptable, and engaging in conversation. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time with him.

We had a wonderful experience with Michie who spoke fluent English and was very knowledgeable of the area and food. Our daughter is Coeliac and Michie made sure she was able to have gluten free safe options. Would recommend to anyone with dietary restrictions.

I really enjoyed my Flavors of Japan food tour. We toured the Nihombashi area in Tokyo in April with Ramona and Mandy. They were charming and well informed about both the area and Japanese food. They took us to speciality stores and explained about the importance of regional food, we could try some of the products. The lunch we ate was delightful! Can't remember the name of the restaurant. This tour was so enjoyable with great tour guides. Mandy and Ramona didn't make us hurry so the tour ended up being longer than it advertised.

I had an awesome time on this tour! Great opportunity to make new friends while chatting and eating so many dishes! Alex was our guide, really fun and energetic company. He had a great approach to doing the tour. He was open and generous, this tour was a fantastic first time experience coming to Tokyo and Japan.

Everyone loved the tour (4p.m. afternoon one) We learnt about Japanese food and culture. Alex our guide was a fun person and an excellent tour guide - he explained Japanese culture from a western perspective. Very organized tour eg. no waiting in the restaurants + the meeting point was easy to find.

I loved everything on this tour!!! Our guide was great, we ate delicious food, and were able to get a real sense of the culture of Shibuya. You should definitely book this tour!

We had a fantastic food tour with Ryan. He explained what to do/what not to do when eating and how to eat certain foods. If you are coming to Japan I recommend a food tour straight away because I had all of my questions answered on the tour with Ryan so eating not complicated. Thank you!!

You can read as much as you want on the internet, but one food tour from a Japanese native and you learn much more. The food was incredible, and the balance of walking to food amount was perfect. Highly recommend this tour.
