Tokyo 饮品之旅

Such a fun night! Yoshi took us to great places, shared wonderful food, drink and energy with our group. We had the best time and it was a perfect introduction to the city. Also loved the language and culture insights…and did I mention the food :)

The brewery tour was interesting. It was not the season for it to be running but we were able to see all the working parts. The host in Japanese was a bit long winded and thankfully our guide did not translate everything he said but it did make the tour drag on a bit. However all was good as our guide suggested a wonderful place for us to have lunch and end our day on a good note.

Touring with Yoshi was super fun. We had an outstanding variety of food and nightlife and would absolutely recommend this trip to others. Thanks, Yoshi!

Yoshi was excellent from minute one. All the facts about the food and drink culture for the areas we visited. Funny and engaging with very good English language and care.

Dan was a great host! We had a fun time at both bars we visited. The bartenders were welcoming and Dan did a great job explaining everything.

Ryo and Akiko were fantastic hosts! We learnt a lot about the Golden Gai area, from the Hanazono Shrine to the bars in the area. They were very knowledgeable and friendly in our conversations and whisky tastings. The whiskys were diverse and high quality, and we learnt a lot about the history of whisky in Japan. The food provided was also tasty and accompanied the whiskys very well. We appreciated the planning that went into our tour, including the frequent communication and directions leading up to the day, and asking about our preferred music. We highly recommend this tour to whisky lovers! It was the perfect surprise for my husband’s 50th birthday! Thank you Ryo and Akiko!

A sake tasting and several Izakaya’s plus an excellent guide (Emmanuel) made this a phantastic experience.

Rio, the lady bartender, and her assistant on food pairings—all lovely—were exceptional and fun. The bartender was a true Ice Master and she prepared the best miso soup I ever had. I would say not to miss this fun and intimate drinking experience in Tokyo!

The tour was really fun, Alejandro knows all the great spots in Kichijoji where locals go to drink. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming.

This was an exceptional whisky tasting experience delivered by my guide Dan. He's very knowleadgeable and passionate about japanese whisky and whisky in general, and the selection chosen for the tasting was very good.
