The Most Amazing Excursion in Nosara
This was such an amazing experience! A must do when in Nosara! Juan Carlos was such a great guide and was very thorough when teaching us about what we were cooking and the tradition behind it. The music was great, the food was delicious and fresh, the company was the best, and the animals (cows, goats, and cats) were the cherry on top. You get a tonnnn of food for the price, so come hungry! Honesty was one of our favorite excursions when in Nosara!

Our cooking class with John Carlos and Esperanza was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Costa Rica! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like family and created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

Fun and chill activity
This was a low-key, laid back way to make local Costa Rican food and have a good time, too. Jean-Carlos is so chill and friendly. My friend and I had a good time learning how to make empanadas and ceviche. We left with full bellies and a greater appreciation of outdoor kitchen fire cooking. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommend. Amazing experience.
Juan Carlos was amazing and we had so much fun. The food was delicious and authentic. We loved hearing about him learning the recipes from his grandmother.
Highly recommend and would go again. We will be making the ceviche at home for sure!
