Can’t believe he got my husband to participate and enjoy the cooking experience! We both learned so much about unfamiliar ingredients and technique. Step by step, we prepared a delicious meal and enjoyed a wonderful evening of conversation. The company of the puppies made it extra special, like having dinner at home with old friends.

+66 fotosWe just had a terrific evening with Chef Scott and his team, learning about everything from local recipes and their secret ingredients (ginger ale!) to knife skills and cooking tips. The setting was beautiful, the hospitality was outstanding, and the instruction was lively. Not to mention that we got to meet several resident rescue pups! Truly a great experience not to be missed if you enjoy great cooking and conversation.

Our private cooking class with Chef Scott Alan at Costa Rica Cooking was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to La Fortuna! I’ve done other cooking classes that were not as hands on as this one. Loved that we got to try maki...Leer más

During my 11 day stay in Costa Rica, I visited Playa del Coco, Monteverde, then finally La Fortuna. I did zip lines, nature walks, butterfly tours, snorkeling, volcano hikes, hot springs, then finally the cooking class. The cooking class was the most enjoyable event of those 11 days, and that is saying a lot, because I enjoyed my entire stay in Costa Rica. The people were lovely and kind, and I never felt like I was treated as a tourist. Very much by accident I learned about the cooking class...Leer más
