We weren’t looking for wineries in Denmark but about four people mentioned Singlefile during our two days so we knew we had to check it out. The wines were sublime, every single one, the service was stellar, the tasting was free and the atmosphere was pleasant. We’ve visited wineries in Barossa and Margaret River and this was in our top two. I can see why Denmark’s secret is spreading.
Singlefile is a beautiful winery with an extensive selection. Our hosts were very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. We definitely spent more on wine than we'd planned but we look forward to enjoying them
Absolutely loved our tasting at Singlefile. Good range of wines and they all tasted great. Our kids enjoyed exploring the grass area
We visited the winery on several occasions while spending a month in Denmark but the highlight was this curated tour of the vineyard and the tasting afterwards. We were fortunate that Trix (Tracey Whooley) led our tour. She grows vines herself and has first hand knowledge of the complexity of growing grapes, pruning and harvesting them. It was obvious from entering the premises that we were guests and not just customers. For wine tasting we chose to sit outside, while our hosts attended to us. The atmosphere was friendly and informal, the relax approach to wine tasting made the afternnon an experience we will always treasure. As to the wines, they were of good quality offered at reasonable prices. Added to all of this was the setting, a beautiful outlook viewed from a very comfortable cellar door .
