(Excellent +) I cannot express how wonderful it was to have booked this cooking class. Angsana was wonderful. She took me to shop for the ingredients for my meal which was a great experience in itself. Every step was explained and interspersed the conversation was as enjoyable as the meal she helped me cook. It was such a pleasure learning Thai cooking from Angsana! Everything was perfect - from her warm hospitality to the attention to quality and detail she brought to every dish. It was great to shop in a very authentic local market where we discussed the dishes we would like to cook. We were shown the different types of vegetables, fish and meat with explanations of what you would use them for. Our teacher showed us how to prepare the various ingredients in her home and then ensured we knew what to do practically with them . We then cooked three dishes which we then had for lunch. The whole experience was very informative and relaxed and we were made to feel at home

A wonderful experience as part of our Thailand holiday January 2026. Angsana offers a good selection of authentic Thai recipies to cook from scratch at her home in Bangkok. If you want to, you can even arrange to go to the local market with Angsana to get the ingredients! Angsana has a family history that includes successful street market food. She speaks fluent English and offered invaluable advice on how to vary the recipies we chose. Also on ingredient substitutions with UK availability.
