Wine the Gap wine tasting
Our 3:00 reservation was missed due to Viator not notifying the venue. Luckily, our hotel was a block from the shop and Micky rescheduled us for 9:00pm with a promise of a bottle of wine for our trouble. We sat with a couple from Malta who very nice, and Micky marveled us with his knowledge of the history of Hungarian wines. One of our Favorite Experiences!
We had such a great time learning about the history and geography of winemaking in Hungary. Bianca was a delight and shared various wines while connecting the experiences of her family and other winemakers. This was one of our favorite experiences from our European travels! And we brought home several bottles of our favorites!

Amazing and Educational Wine Tasting
I wanted to share our wonderful experience with Miklos (“Micky”). He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and fun, and the Hungarian wines we tasted were elegant and complex.
Having attended many wine tastings in Napa and Bordeaux, we can confidently say this was the best tasting we have ever experienced. With his 25 years in the industry and experience judging wines in Hungary, Miklos's deep knowledge of the local regions and winemakers truly set this experience apart.

Excellent wine tasting experience
Set in a beautiful small wine bar, this was an excellent experience that we are so pleased we did. Our host Bianca was incredible, so friendly and knowledgeable and has such a passion for what she does which made the whole experience just that little bit more special. We tasted 6+ wines and served with cheeses, bread and pate.
Such a shame that Hungary doesn't export its wines, the world is missing out of some incredible wines!
